We are in the Victory Professional Center at 1115 South Main Street, Bel Air, Maryland. South Main Street is the road between Edgewood and Bel Air also known as Emmorton Road (State Route #924). We are between Festival and MacPhail Road. The closest cross street is Victory Lane.
What are your office hours?
Appointments are available Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The phones are answered weekdays 9:00 AM to 12:00 NOON and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Light treatments are available weekdays 8:30 AM to 11:30 and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The office is closed everyday between 12:00 NOON and 1:00 PM.
Are light treatments for skin disease available?
Bernstein & Robinson Dermatology, P.A. provides Narrow Band UVB and Psoralen Plus Ultraviolet A (PUVA) treatments. Appointments are available 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM daily.
I am having trouble getting through on the phone. What can I do?
Phone numbers are 410-879-7404, 410-836-7404 and 410-879-7631. There are three operators answering. It is essential you listen to all the phone tree options so you can select the extension option for the correct operator.

Who can I talk to about my insurance or bill?
Call any of our phone numbers and input extension #11. A billing specialist answers between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM daily. Please leave a message in the event that the billing specialist is busy or not available.
Do you take Blue Choice Health Insurance?
Yes we take all types of Blue Choice. Please be sure to get a written referral if you have Blue Choice HMO.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
If your physician wants us to see you, let us know or have the doctor's office call to expedite an appointment. You must have written referral if you have Blue Choice HMO or CareFirst Point of Service (POS).
Do you take new patients?
Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Robinson, and Assistant Jenifer Abbott are accepting new patients for medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology problems. In addition Registered Nurse Cheerie Silverman is accepting new patients for cosmetic problems. Bernstein and Robinson Dermatology use the Harmony XL to perform intense pulse light and laser treatments. Also, Botox, Restalyne, Radiesse, Perlane, and Juvederm are available.
Do you do surgery in the office?
Yes. Almost all surgeries are done under local anesthesia in the office.

Do you keep a cancellation list?
No, we do not keep a cancellation list. However, if you are willing to accept any appointment time due to a cancellation, you may call in the morning (9:15 - 9:30) to see if any times are available for the current day.
